Its Official! TnHA and TTR Join Forces, Become TnHTA! Following a year of study and the approval of their respective boards, the Tennessee Hospitality Assoc-iation (TnHA) and the Tennessee Tourism Round-table (TTR) have partnered to become the Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association (TnHTA). The new organization was officially rolled out at the TnHTA Day on the Hill event. For the first time, we have a state-wide organization that represents all of the hospitality and tourism interests in Tennessee, said Danny Sumrall, Chair of TnHTA. This gives our industry greater strength and a truly unified voice, and will allow us to provide even greater benefits to our members across the state. That sentiment was echoed by Brenda McCroskey, 2013 Chair of the Tennessee Tourism Roundtable and now Chair of the Tourism Caucus for TnHTA. We are genuinely excited about TnHTA and about what it is going to accomplish for our industry. We are confident that the new organization is going to benefit us all. Greg Adkins, CEO & President of the former TnHA, will now serve as President & CEO of TnHTA. John Whisenant, former Executive Director of TTR, will now serve as Director of Tourism for TnHTA and will work directly with the associations attraction, DMO, and tourism industry-related members.
