Its Red Friday! Show your support Canada...wear red today!! ♡♡♡♡ Faith is going to be on CBC Radio live this morning at 7:20 am. She will be talking about Cuddles for Cancer and Make a Difference Day that is TOMORROW! !! ♡ Faith is encouraging people of all ages to make a difference in their communities tomorrow. Plant a tree, rake your neighbors leaves, donate blood, buy someone a coffee....These are just a few things that you could do. ♡ The smallest gestures REALLY do make a difference. Faiths school is doing a food drive for our Lakefield Food Bank for the next week and we have received several emails and messages from people across Canada that have found out, that are going to volunteer. Weve heard from Fort McMurray, Victoria and all over ontario! ♡♡♡ There are several events going on in Peterborough tomorrow: MP Dean Del Mastro is hosting a blood donor clinic. Our supply is critically low so this is a perfect way to make a big difference in the community. It runs 8am - noon. Come out & donate with Dean! STRUTT Central is hosting a clothing and toy drive for women and children. All donations will be delivered to the Crossroads Shelter. Christina Abbott is the creator of STRUTT4KIDS and Peterborough Fashion Week. STRUTT4KIDS raised over $50,000 for Childrens Five Counties last month. There will be a food drive from 9 am - 1pm. Please feel free to drop off donations at the old Baskin Robbins factory. All donations will be delivered to Kawartha Food share. Niki Allday, creator of Just BeYOUtiful Campaign is a local photographer and pet lover. She is combining her two passions and doing a pet photo shoot in Jackson Park. All pics will be by donations only. All funds will be donated to a pet shelter. We will send out further information throughout the day!
