Its Small Business Saturday today and it has got me thinking about the journey I have been on over the last 4 years. It all started in a greenhouse, on a log! It was here I spent much of my time watching my (then) 1 year old and 3 year old play. It was here that I needed to do something to feel like me and it was here that I started to sketch. I never would have dreamed that 4 years later I would have my very own successful small business, employing 8 people, shipping out up to 750 personalised products a day, a published childrens book (with 4 more due out!) a successful award winning brand of journals, a french branch of the company and so many exciting projects for the future. And all this from my odd imagination! None of this would have happened without all of the lovely people who have believed in me, especially my husband and business partner Steve, and our amazing customers who come back over and over again to buy our gifts.
