Its a funny thing how people justify their worship of other things and blame religion for supposedly keeping people in oppression, surpressed and in ignorance. For whatever purposes to satisfy their own needs. That may have been the case in the dark ages but not so today. They say that religions are the causes of the troubles of the world. And so on and so on. How little they understand that the real cause of the problem is their own unwillingness to believe in a God greater than themselves, to follow God, obey His commandments and listen or follow promptings that they receive from His Spirit. And who is at the heart of the problem? The same being that told Cain to murder his brother, Able. Lets face the truth here. The world loves Satan more than God. So they ignore God to pursue the things of the world. Power, property, fame and wealth. All the things the world will give them for ignoring and disobeying God. So, there you have it. Just like all false gods that people worship, they will perish just like their followers when their followers are dead. There is a God! And He is God. Unless, we yield all that we have ever had, have now or will ever have too Him by helping others who are less fortunate by no will of their own then we have not only offended ourselves but the God who has made us and preserves us from day to day. We must cease to worship our false gods and worship the almighty God, even Jesus Christ. He is the Way. He is the Truth and He is the Light and they that love Him will follow Him in all things will know Him. And they will be His children and He will be their God. Amen.
