Its a scary & sad day when believers sleep on their own authority in Christ & pass it on to unbelievers to set the tone for how we should live. I believe it was Gods will that we walk in dominion by now in this generation, not subject or inferior to those without Christ. We have become ACCESSORIES when we should be serving as the AUTHORITIES. How will we stay with Him when we barely pray to Him? How will we see Him when we barely seek after Him & His righteousness. We want to see something that we arent seeking. How do you seek? By prayer & fasting. Humbling yourself, turning from your wicked ways & pursuing Him. There will always be an increase of injustices, racism, violence, perversion, & wickedness etc until the source of these symptoms is confronted properly...SIN, PRIDE, IDOLATRY. Whats frightening is that a large majority of the CHURCH is only interested in entertainment, convenience, personal agendas, self-worship, etc. Its not time to curse, riot, divide, throw tantrums, attack and harm each other. Its time to REPENT & PRAY. Prayer is where we will pursue Gods will & purpose. Prayer is where our hearts become vulnerable and sensitized to God, His voice, mind & heart. Prayer is where we decrease & He increases. Prayer offends the flesh, the carnal mind & pride. Prayer develops what life will demand later. Prayer requires discipline of self & stewardship of time. Prayer will posture us to walk in the authority we should have by now to change the climate of our generation. Prayer is the conduit through which God can impart strategies, insight and revelation concerning what, where, when, who, why & how. Prayer is the posture that submits our gift to The King and qualifies us to be brought before great platforms that will extend the Kingdom of God. We dont need another prayer summit, conference, book or coach. We need prayer meetings all over this country! Too often we have prayer events where teaching and testimonies of prayer happen, but very little to no prayer happens. Church in America, our eyes are too dry! The altar is empty but yet we want fire to fall! Not so! Not so! We have preachers, teachers, evangelists, worship leaders, musicians, prophets, youth pastors, ministry leaders and members of churches who dont come to prayer meetings. They attend concerts, festivals, recordings, conferences, overtime at work, degree programs but put prayer on the if I can make it list. We are in trouble if this is the case. Its not on the politician, entertainer, justice system, civil rights activists, law enforcers, etc...its on US..His People. If MY people, who are called by my name......
