Its been a year of dragonflies for me. Those little guys been a constant source of synchronicity and guidance...I get the goosebumps just thinking about it. My hike today was no exception. It may have been the cooler temps but instead of flitting away, DOZENS of them were just sitting there, still and peaceful, allowing me to get close enough to take a few photos. It is said that the dragonfly carries the wisdom of transformation and adaptability in life. As spirit animal, the dragonfly is connected to the symbolism of change and light. When the dragonfly shows up in your life, it may remind you to bring a bit more lightness and joy into your life or to encourage you to look through illusion, become aware of falsehood and deception. They are a sign to delve deep into your emotions and shine your true colors.Those who have the dragonfly as a spirit animal may be encouraged to show their true colors more often and shine. Even if they may be more discreet than let’s say the peacock, they often exert a fascinating influence and arouse curiosity in others. Who doesnt love a bit of meaningful coincidence?
