Its funny when ever I put up a client transformation photo our trainers and the client who achieved the transformation always get a bunch of questions about the program they did, what they ate, the supplements they took etc etc. thinking its some sort of secret formula and wanting me to give them this formula so they can get the results as well. This is great I love that people get interested in what were doing. But there is no secret formula, program or diet. Even if I gave you their program 99% of people would not get the results. Its not the program that gets the results. Its the individualisation to the client, building the foundation, the execution of the exercises and the tweaks that only a coach can pick up. Its the same with diet, every clients diet is different and its the tweaks that are made over weeks and months that contribute to the end result. The diet that gets you from 20 to 15% body fat is not the same as the diet that gets you from 15 to 10% or 10 to 6%. It needs changing as your body changes. Finally and most importantly it is the dedication and hard work of the client that is the biggest factor in results. No matter what we do if they cant follow the plan put in effort and get nutrition right then its not going to happen. Plenty of people can stay motivated for 4 weeks. But it needs to be a lifestyle change. If my car breaks down I could probably find out on google whats wrong with it, find the parts for it and even figure out how to fix it. It would probably take me 5 times as long than if I just payed for a mechanic and the car might even work again. But chances are in a week or 2, maybe a months time Ill be on the side of the road again back to square one. If I had just payed for a mechanic who knew how to do exactly what my car needed I could have saved myself the time and frustration and got my end result much quicker. Its the same with hiring a coach. If you want the result then suck it up, pay for a good coach and learn what needs to be done and get it done right. Dont lose 10 kilos and put 12 back on 3 months later... I am a personal trainer and I still pay for a trainer. Having a good coach watch me and having someone with different thoughts on training to me design my program is invaluable and well worth the investment. #sorryforthelongpost #hadtobesaid #hireanexpertgetheresults
