Its heartbreaking for us to hear about the breakup of another marriage and family due to PTSD... usually untreated or undertreatd PTSD. Just wanted to say... Vets, we understand its very hard sometimes to admit, or even to understand that you actually need help. You are trained to be the ULTIMATE measure of self-sufficiency and capability, and admitting that you may need help, especially with your brain, is not easy. HOWEVER, I would just want to say, if you have reached that point where you KNOW you need help, please dont delay. The cost of waiting can sometimes be more than you want to pay, and usually costs the most to those that love you, and are closest to you. And, I might add, that we spouses (at least the decent ones) dont think it makes you seem weak to seek help.... to us, you become an example of REAL strength when you get help, because one of the HARDEST things to do in this life is to humble yourself to ask for needed help, so you become our heroes in one more significant way. ~Michele Smith
