Its official: I have a new two-book deal with HarperCollins! Book A (no title yet) will be the Paris-set story of Lady Helena, who appears as a secondary character in both Somewhere in France and After the War is Over. Book B will leave the Great War behind and move to the era of the Second World War, and will be the first in a trilogy of novels with war brides as the central theme. None of this would be happening without YOU, the readers who have supported Somewhere in France so enthusiastically -- so I offer my heartfelt thanks to all of you, and I will be toasting you, along with my editor, Amanda Bergeron, and my literary agent, Kevan Lyon, as soon as the sun is over the yardarm this evening.
