Its tick season! To remove the ugly buggers, grasp firm with fingers wrapped in paper towel or use tweezers, then pull firmly, gently and slowly. Every one thinks theyll leave the head; in reality, they leave a scab from infection because they are so disgusting. Clean and use topical antibiotic. DONT touch the tick with a hot match, gasoline, or other chemicals... these just piss him off, make him dig in deeper, and regurgitate the infections inside his belly into your dog (like Lyme disease!).
