Its time somebody officially identified and designated somewhere as the centre of Horsford. Not the historical centre, not even necessarily the commercial, community or social centre of the village. But, when you take everything into account, where the centre truly is. For many the centre will simply be their home. But the centre is certainly likely to be viewed differently by a Becksider as opposed to a Shrublander, or a Meadowlander as opposed to a Pinelander . . or Angelino. Residents south of the Beck will have their own ideas too. But I think its time we decided. For me, Im going to vote for the rock outside Keelers Butchers; its always such a perfect place to stop and adjust your bag or pushchair, to have a chat or watch a plane go by. What do you think?
