Music: a call for submissions Each year Bass Coast Festival offers an eclectic mix of emerging Canadian electronic producers alongside internationally renowned artists such as A Tribe Called Red, Addison Groove, Paleman, dBridge, G Jones, Justin Martin, and many more. Our curatorial panel listens to hundreds of applications looking for artists who are original, who compliment the Bass Coast audio aesthetic, and who have honed their production skills as well as their performance technique. In addition to listening through all the applications, the panel also solicits participation from some of our favourite international artists. Last year we received 700 applications over 2 months. This year we are opening the call for submissions for ONLY 10 DAYS. We are looking for PRODUCERS. The Bass Coast ’sound’ is INNOVATIVE, its EMOTIVE, its ORIGINAL.We want to be MOVED to DANCE, to feel, to laugh, to move. We are an open minded community who appreciate art and take risks.
