(2 Corinthians 4:7 HCSB) Imagine you lived centuries ago. Your little village has been surrounded by Alexander the Greats army. He sits outside the gate. You have a choice: deny him entry or open the gates and receive him as king. Its kind of like that with Jesus. Theres a lot of ways to leave him outside the gate. You can rely on your own ability to be good. You can rely on religion. But, hell still be outside the gate. Or, you can open the gate to your life and receive him as king. Then the ol clay jar will be worth something...Its whos inside that counts! (John L)
