Its with great pleasure I finally get this to you guys... shot in 1993 and 1994 at the height of the influx of Americans, Canadians, Brits, Australians and other foreigners into the beautiful former communist bloc city of Prague, Czechoslovakia, Jan and Krystyna Kaplan interviewed key figures in the scene including newspaper publishers, artists and writers, technologists and business people, restauranteurs, and social activists. Alan Levy, editor of the Prague Post and a writer who was expelled from Prague during the Soviet invasion in the late 1960s is featured. Alan described this scene as the Left Bank of the 90s, a moniker which aptly described the opening of a new life for the ex-pats and Czechs at the time.
