It’s Sunday, and this is my thought process on such a day. I hear the church music going around the corner from my house. There is a church on just about every corner out here. And in most of these churches, the black people are praising a white Jesus. Whenever I speak on these things, I get verbally attacked. Accused of being a hater of God. This is not the case. I see what the black churches are doing to my people. I see them set in there ways, too afraid to question anything the bible has told them. I see them passing judgment on others that do not believe the malarkey they choose to believe. I see my neighbourhood going down the drain, and yet they always make it to church. They are always there to praise their white Jesus. There have been many legacies stolen from us. One of them being the story of Jesus Christ. This is not an original, but a copy of the life of ours. And the virgin Mary? An imitation of Isis. I say this because I find it odd that my brothers and sisters aren’t more eager to worship a God in the likeness of themselves. I know that there will be some that say it doesn’t matter what Jesus looked like. But when it is negatively affecting the state of mind of my people, it does matter. I show these images because I want people to see the truth. Not to just follow blindly, what religion our parents have blindly handed down to us. But to stop and question everything. To not be afraid of searching for the truth. We have been caught up in mental slavery since our ancestors were forced over here. The slave masters used religion to strike the fear of God into them. They would read from the bible about how God favoured slaves who were obedient. I am still trying to find out how we are still stuck in this religious rut today.
