It’s been said that parenting is the toughest job on earth. So parents are always looking for effective ways to make parenting easier while still supporting their children’s growth and development. New research, funded in part by NICHD, from Penn State found better long-term outcomes for children whose parents acted as a team. The study showed that children whose parents participated in a prenatal program aimed at enhancing couples co-parenting relationship were better adjusted at age 7 than were children whose parents did not.
