It’s like swimming against a tide, and a clock. Running hills, - TopicsExpress

It’s like swimming against a tide, and a clock. Running hills, a tiger to be tamed. Have to run it like one too. Not so much about what you get achieving your time goal, more of what you become. Always have my eye on Map My Run, pace and the clock. Then again don’t we all, whether running or in life. Clocks remind that we are present and alive. It can be the clock in your kitchen, on your phone, or when you cross the finish line and you’re home, where you wanted to go. It also serves to remind to make the most of it, make an impact while we are here…present and alive. For Coach, Jorge. You ran for me a couple weeks ago and todays 6 #megsmiles with hills to get #richmondready for the #RVAhalfmarathon, are for you my friend as you prepare for taking on the 5 boroughs of New York and the NYC Marathon. Can’t tell you the impact you have had on me as runner and person, and if not for this group we never would have met…nor would I have taken up running. An absolute road tiger, inspiring and encouraging others in running and our lives, that we are here to make an impact. Thank you. The road tiger is coming to NYC, look out. Hear this one often when I run, and suits well. Sing it in my car, and have not been pulled over yet for violating any noise ordinances; nor is it on Youtube. Besides Chris Martin of Coldplay and Alicia Keys are really, really good.
