Ive been challenged by my mom to do the 3 day grateful challenge. 3 days, 3 different people, 3 things I am grateful for… Today is day 2. I am unsure if I am supposed to tag 3 different people to do this still?? #1 - I am grateful for my grandmother. She has and always will be my biggest cheerleader. Even things that no one else gets excited about for me, I know that I can go to her with it, and she will at least LOOK as excited as I am. Everybody needs a cheerleader! #2 - I am grateful for my grandfather. I am thankful that he took on the roll of my father, in the sperm donors absence. He gave me ice cream when my momma wouldnt. Hes my endless supply of ButterRum LifeSavers. He taught me how to fish. He gave me my first gun that was my great grandfathers (only a pellet gun). He taught me how to change my headlights, take off and change a car door. No matter what I cook, he acts like its the best thing hes ever ate. Hes done things for me that a real father would. I am a grandpas girl until the day I die. #3 - I am grateful for my bosses, past and present. Laura Doll, Jared Talarski and James M Herstell. I am grateful for their faith, guidance, constant words of encouragement, and their trust in me. It is because of them that I can walk into any type of food establishment and be qualified for almost any position. I can do any dietary aide position, dish, cook (large scale only, no short order), prep, pantry, expo, breakfast/lunch/brunch AND dinner service, bartend, supervise, stock, inventory, office work... Without them trusting me and believing I can do anything, I wouldnt have SO many different pay departments or positions I am qualified to do.
