Ive been meaning to jot down the birds we see in our garden. I made two lists; the first are birds weve seen in the last three weeks (and most of them in the last week) and the second are occasional or seasonal visitors. Most of these birds can be found within our boundary or just the other side of the fence. There are some tiny birds that forage high in the tall roadside trees - the kind that are the twitchers nightmare - that I cant identify even with good binoculars, so the list is not complete. Not a bad list for a 1.5 acre property.
