Ive been really wanting to take a couple of silver smithing lessons. I have been gathering basic tools but still lack a few. My wife and I went to a new farmers market to get produce and it was almost all vendors selling jewelry. One man who I talked to for awhile, picking his brain did some nice work. I said to him you oughta give me some lessons. He offered me 1 on 1 lessons at his house. First lesson I will make a ring silver provided. Second lesson I will furnish silver. Lost wax cast a pendant in this lesson. I will also be taught to mix .999 silver with copper to make. 925 sterling silver. Beyond that I can take more lessons. The first two lessons with silver provided for ring is $100. And if I want him to sell my works he will do for10% of price, But I will keep or sell my own. He had nice things and was really friendly. I will be doing this soon!
