Ive begun to realize that as you get older most people continue listening to the same music and the same bands that they listen to when they were in their late teens and mid 20s. This does hold true for me. I do listen to music that I listened to when I was at a more impressionable age of my life, more often. In the same respect those specific bands are the bands that have left the biggest impression on my life, on me as a person, and on my tastes in other music as I grew older. These bands/artists are: Waylon Jennings Johnny Cash Megadeth Iron Maiden Judas Priest Black Label Society Poisonblack Type O Negative The Cult Opeth Im also noticing that these are also usually the bands that if they were newer back then or in their prime back then, once they start to mature as musicians and their writing style matures and changes its changing at the same rate you are aging generally, too! Usually, for the better!
