Ive expressed my deep concerns with United Waters rate increase request, an increase that would be crushing to most Stony Point and Rockland County ratepayers. You can see my letter to the Public Service Commission linked below. This rate increase comes at a time when many of my constituents are still rebuilding from Hurricane Irene. It also comes at a time when studies have shown significant and costly management issues at United Water - these management issues should be addressed before any rate increase is pursued.
