Ive got a vast knowledge on pregnancy, infants and children, so Im usually the one to come to for help and questions. Lately Ive actually been having a problem with my 6 week old daughter that I really dont know anything about. My daughter strains to poop. For hours. Its as if her stool is like a rock, but when I help her go (thermometer stimulation), its normal stool followed by a bit of loose stool. I cant for the life of me figure out why her poor little bottom cant get it out on her own. She cries and cries and it breaks my heart but I cant keep stimulating her because her body needs to know to push it out by itself. If anybody has any ideas as to what could be causing this, please let me know. Best bet is the doctor at which she has an appointment on the 5th. Thanks!
