Ive had enough. Im tired of people distorting the gospel to allow for their own failures. Ive been attacked for taking a stand against prosperity theology. People constantly take scripture out of context to meet their own desires. On the other side are the fundamentalist who are so tied to the law that they cant reach grace. Dont tell me when child is not healed by God that is was a lack of faith or that it was because of someones sin. Ive seen people healed over night, while my own family members suffered in pain. This I know though, that in each of my family members instances, that God gave them each years far beyond what the Doctors did. He kept each of them here for his glory. Ive heard it said that God just wants us to be happy. He does, but thats our choice. What he wants more than anything else is obedience. None of us are capable of such obedience. Thats why he gave us grace. If he never allows anything else to prosper in our lives, his grace is sufficient. To God be the glory.
