Ive had one of THE most enjoyable guided yoga practice today with Michelle Ashanti Williams aid. Again, she taught my 5:30pm-6:30pm Mixed Level Yoga Class today at my studio and wow, the experience was so amazing, it is hard to put in words. First of all, I put quite a decent amount of effort in my Vinyasa, and it resulted in the most sweat Ive ever poured out in her class, which felt great at all levels, physically, mentally, emotionally and even spiritually. My mind, body and spirit were equally challenged with the warm up. I felt inspired to even incorporate my own little variation of the warm-up by doing the full king pigeon/cobra (whatever it is called lol) where my feet touched my head with as much of a proper full spinal back-bend as possible. This felt so great. I did my jump through with more ease. Everything just felt so in sync. I was in my own world, focusing on my practice so much that for much of it my eyes were closed to focus on my internal experience. My arms were also challenged through the warm-up. We did more vigorous yoga poses today, and that was great since my body was prepared to do them. I did my full advanced bow which felt so heart opening of course. However, the greatest and newest experience so far is that during svasana, so many emotions were erupting from my system. It felt like I was draining out the poison, the negativity, the hurt in my heart from those who had done me wrong, and tears leaked out of my eyes. I felt so empowered as I continued to inhale only positive feelings, attributes and I felt so wholesome. It was one of the best classes Ive ever had in my life and I simply felt like there was no way to adequately thank her for it. You keep getting better and better with each class I take with you. I even introduced the Bee Breath to my Kids Yoga class today and my Beginners Yoga Class and both groups enjoyed it! I will continue to the new information and practices you do that I find truly meaningful and will share them with my students. Namaste.
