Ive lived in Hawaii (twice), been to Colombia, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. Camped in the desert at Moab, hiked to the arches in the red rocks, Ive lived in Sedona and Pagosa Springs, and Telluride. One thing Ive learned is that this earth needs love. Not the kind of love that I have for my mom. Self Love. The earths people are learning to love themselves. We need to create a culture that honors the path of others. There are so many things to see and do. It no longer satisfies the psyche of a spiritualist or artist to stay in one place. We roam the eARTh looking for inspiration from joy and from pain. Watching 9 yr olds beg for cigarettes in Santa Marta will change how you think. All I want for Christmas is for everyone to find their spark of love. How many of you know if youre even alive? Sometimes I cant tell whats real and what isnt. I feel alive when Im on the edge of life. While I realize thats not a very smooth way of being alive, I love it. There is something precious about 100 mph moonlight motorcycle rides at Anini Beach. Or dropping into Bear Creek alone with no gear. These things keep me going. One other thing besides this feeling keeps me alive. And thats the depth of love I feel when I look another person in the eyes. We are all amazing people; teachers, painters, photographers, poets, skiers, snowboarders, chefs, musicians, we are fighters, lovers, hippies, engineers, stock brokers, and DJs. All beautiful, all alive. This Christmas is for all of you! Let us find joy in each other. In the amazing people that make us feel alive. If youre a man give your best friend a hug, cry a bit, feel ALIVE. Tell people you love them today with your eyes and not your gifts. We are all in this crazy dream together. Lets make it a beauty.
