Ive never figured out why In-and-Out Burger is so incredibly popular while Carls, Jr., isnt. When given a choice and Im by myself, Ill choose Carls for its more satisfying fast food. I wont go out of my way for In-and-Out and dont understand the crowds nor its perceived coolness to those who seem to love everything thats bad ass. Well, its entirely possible that McDonalds has finally hit upon the reason for this. McDonalds had gotten complicated just like everyone else, except for In-and-Out (and our local Arnold Giant Burger thats packed with tourists in the summer).
