I’ve completed the Genesis PURE Corp. Slim Down/Shape Up Challenge! I have gone from 216.6 pounds to 188.6 pounds for a total loss of 12.93% in the past three months. I’m actually a little short of my goal I had set for this timeframe, but I’m not at all disappointed. I’m hearing from lots of people around me that they can see the difference and I am certainly noticing the difference. Not only do I feel better physically, but I am proud of what I have accomplished so far and already have other goals set for myself. The Genesis PURE HealthTrim 30-Day Detox Program was a great way to ‘jump start’ my journey and my husband and I did it together. Not only did it get my system cleansed from all kinds of the ‘junk’ that I had been feeding it, but it also educated me as I learned to cook and enjoy brown rice, quinoa, and various other whole grains. I learned to integrate them into my everyday meals and modify recipes to include them. I also found that my tastes actually changed along the way and healthy flavors such as balsamic vinegar that I have never liked before now appeal to me very much.
