I’ve noticed something now a day’s (something that kind of dawned on me) that I think needs to be brought out into the light. And I may offend some people in saying this, so if I do – sorry in advance. I’ve noticed that the majority of folks now a day’s only pray to God after something bad have happened. This disturbs me. I’ve noticed that most of us are slipping away from God. We are slipping away from believing he does care and does answer our prayers. I’ve noticed that after something bad has happened we rush to pray for each other and rush to pray that everything comes out okay for the certain individual. While all of this is not a problem, it draws us away from faith. Keeping faith is key to believing. Praying to God every day, even when the day is perfect its right and its necessary to keep our spirit healthy. We should be connected & pray with God daily to keep our spirits healthy. We shouldn’t wait until we need him to start praying. But yet I see this all the time. I know God loves us so much that he gave his only son to die on the cross, so that we may sin and still be forgiven/Still be allowed into Heaven. I think we should pray to God just because. We don’t need a reason to look up and say hello and praise him. We should do this every day. My grandmother on my Dad’s side used to pray out loud about EVERYTHINHG! It didn’t matter if we we’re seeing the first Star Wars movie. She would see something get killed and she would pray. I thought she was crazy. lol And if something bad (God forbid) does happen – have faith. Believe! Have faith that he is part of each and every one of us and he does hear our prayers. Have faith that he has set out for us a journey through time and it is meant to enlighten us as we gain knowledge for the next place (Heaven) our spirit goes when we pass. This life is meant to get us ready for the next chapter. Keep a connection with God and the next chapter will read so much better it’s not even comparable. Love each other and pray to God.
