I’ve seen this video shared a couple times, so I thought I’ll just address his concerns before I turn in for the night. 1. The atheist who taunted him is an asshole. 2. Evolution cannot be observed in a person’s lifetime before it happens over such a long period. However, it can be observed through mountains of mutually supporting evidence. Besides, saying something isn’t true just because you can’t observe it is like saying Napoleon didnt exist cause you never met/observed him. 3. The Theory of Gravity is also called a Theory. Would you want to test out that theory from atop a 20 storey building? 4. Yes, as improbable as the origin of life may be, it is still more probable like the existing of a magical being whose existence raises more questions than it answers. 5. The Second law of thermodynamics argument – a little out of my league, but he just glazes over it too. In summary, living things are not closed systems. His understanding of physics is not impressive. 6. The Lamborghini argument only goes to show he doesn’t understand evolution at all. Evolution doesnt propose the instant creation of a Lamborgini, or a body part like the eye or a wing. Rather, it proposes that the eye evolved over a long period, with each improvement bringer it closer to the state you and I are familiar with. If anything, his example only goes to prove the improbability of God creating man and everything else with a snap of his finger, just like the tornado assembling the Lamborghini. 7. True, the world as we know it didnt happen by accident. But it also wasnt created by a bearded old man in the sky. 8. He can’t believe all the natural wonders around you were formed naturally, but can believe in a magic being in the sky. 9. But in Genesis you also have a talking snake, a magical apple, and a women created out of rib. He doesnt really expect me to take it seriously now does he? 10. Wow he said evolution is nonsense, but he spout argument supporting creationism with a straight face :D Nitey night zzzz
