J CITY Theater presents “As Bees In Honey Drown” by Douglas Carter Beane starting this Friday night May 2nd running through the 17th. Shows are on the nights of Wednesday thru Saturday starting at 8pm. Tickets for the show are $20 and can be purchased at jcity.org or calling 800-838-3006. The theater for any one unfamiliar is located right on Hamilton Park at 252 Ninth Street in Jersey City. J CITY Theater continues to partner with local restaurants to offer a dinner and show package. Hamilton Inn is offering 10% off the bill and GP’s Restaurant is offering 15% off – audiences just have to tell their waiters that they are seeing the show later that night. New for this production is a partnership with Chef Bambino – called The Night Out Package. On May 10th, parents can drop their children off at Chef Bambino for a night of play and learning while they attend the show. Parents are encouraged to visit the website for full pricing details. Located right on Hamilton Park in downtown Jersey City, J City Theater has been entertaining theater-goers for over seven years. Even now, in their 8th season, too many JC’ers don’t realize that professional theatrical productions are being put on right here in our wonderful city.
