So that evening in Satsang with Gurudev, someone had a birthday cake brought. And suddenly there was this craving to eat that! But since he was singing himself he could not go. But now the Satsang got over and now he thought, should i go for the cake, since Satsang is over or i run after Gurudev? ( As u know its almost the Dharma of the devotee to run after Gurudev ) But you know how mind is... So it said : or should i go via cake Eat the cake and also Meet the Guru! He hesitated. Should he go for Cake or Run after Guruji. Then he thought maybe i should go after Guruji! As he followed Gurudev, HE took him in Kutir and they sat and Gurudev did not speak anything! A little while someone knocked and peeped in, Guruji, He is a piece of Cake for you? He gleamed. A little while two more people came and offered Gurudev a big piece of cake each. Gurudev looked at the cake and the singer and smiled. Then he said something amazing -If you follow me , all the cakes in the world will follow you! Rashmin Bhaiya added : Being with the Guru, you will always get things before time and much more than u thought was needed. Waqt se pehle aur jaroorat se jyaada hi milega! -In different incident but related to cake : At times in a playful mood Gurudev often throws a piece of cake to the crowd. Gurudev said, Yaha karo toh theek hai par life mai aisa mat karna! (Rashmin Bhaiya Clarified : Its okay to be behind the cake and lose ur focus to Gurudev for a moment but dont do this in life, that you keep running behind the pleasures and lose ur focus on something that brings you happiness -Guru - Knowledge - Sadhana!
