Job Description: Web Marketing Analyst Business: Travel Media Group Location: Maitland, FL 32751 Job Code: SM5 Exempt or Non Exempt: Exempt Summary: Travel Media Group is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join the marketing team. The analyst position is responsible for gathering and cleaning raw data to provide business intelligence, reports and insights on both B2B and B2C efforts to inform strategic marketing and business decisions to ensure annual goals are being achieved. The ideal candidate should have a combination of quantitative analysis and marketing backgrounds with an emphasis in the digital space. Brands to support include: hotelcoupons, travelmediagroup; drivethenation and interstatehotelier Principal Responsibilities Reporting: • Lead development of KPIs and reporting designed to monitor and improve marketing campaign performance. • Measure site usability and effectiveness to optimize conversions across devices. • Quickly identify causes and solutions to issues or unexpected results identified in reporting. • Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking and both paid and organic marketing initiatives. • Generate monthly reports to prioritize geographic focus areas for B2C marketing initiatives and B2B sales initiatives. • Generate quarterly reports and market specific reports as needed for B2B sales team. • Investigate, recognize and resolve data problems and inconsistencies. Analysis: • Perform ongoing comparison analysis to determine ROI and effectiveness across mediums/tactics including but not limited to SEM, Site/Search retargeting, social, link building, public relations and other marketing efforts. • Conduct research on and provide insight into the travel and hospitality industry, target audiences and HotelCoupons competitors to monitor trends and identify opportunities to improve marketing initiatives and end-user products. • Track and analyze site performance, user behavior and conversion across devices. Use web analytics data to inform marketing decisions, product enhancements and to provide insights to stakeholders. Improving Results: • Track progress of web marketing campaigns and identify opportunities to improve results. • Discover underperforming areas of the sites; identify opportunities to improve site performance. • Track developments in web-analytics technology and tools and recommend process changes as needed. • Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders in analysis of A/B testing (from hypothesis creation to identifying success metrics) and post test analysis to improve efficiency, effectiveness and conversation rates. • Lead tags and tracking parameter implementations for web, mobile, and email with product team, web developers and 3rd parties. • Assist in measurement set-up and management (e.g., writing tagging specifications, managing goals and variables, etc). • As needed, support the activities of external partners who manage the day-to-day activities that optimize paid search results. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop both new account and retention-focused web marketing strategies in email, web site, and social networking channels for both B2B and B2C. • Other duties as assigned Education and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field from an accredited university. • Must have previous experience and proven skills with various reporting programs (comScore, Omniture, Google Analytics, etc). Certifications for various software, a plus. • Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel • Must have 3+ years of experience within a marketing analysis role Required Skills • Strong business acumen, analytical, problem solving, data manipulation and management skills including statistical techniques like correlation, regression or time series analysis. • Excellent communication to effectively articulate data and reports to varied audiences within the organization. • Exceptional knowledge of sales, business and marketing processes as related to the travel and hospitality industry. • Strong business reporting, project management and writing skills. • Effective leadership, time management and organizational skills. • Ability to contribute to planning and strategic thinking related to goals and objectives. • Knowledge of social media and SEO applications. • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team. • Motivated by learning and discovering new things. • Creative, solution-oriented self-starter and team player. • Experience in the travel and hospitality industry Apply Here
