JOHNSON, Penny L. 63, of Springfield passed away Tuesday May 6, 2014 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born July 11, 1950 in Washington Court House, Ohio, the daughter of James C. and Rosabelle (Wood) Reed. Penny enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include children John W. Johnson, Jr. (Jennifer Lowry) of Bellefontaine, Anthony E. Johnson (Susan Beers) of Columbus, Keith E. M. Haynes (Kay Smallwood), Mindy M. Johnson, and Kimberly Reed (Emmett Carter), all of Springfield; grandchildren Austin, Jordin, Jaxin, John, Taylor, Tori, Jessica, Kindal, Kerrington, Kaley, Mikeala, McKinnah, Maleah, and Mikiyah; brothers and sisters Jerry Gilpen of Washington Court House, Rosella (Leonard) Roop of Massieville, OH, Barbie Gilpen of Washington Court House, Donna J. Gilpen of Massieville, Dan Nuss of Mobile, AL, Michael Seitze of Ashville, OH, Richard Flecher of Grove City, OH, Jeff (Charlotte) Jordan of Columbus, James Schnider of Chicago, IL, Debbie Liff of South Charleston, and William (Rebecca) Reed of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her husbands John W. Johnson, Sr. and Willard C. Humphrey, Sr.; granddaughter Mia; her parents; and sister Alice J. Reed. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Monday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
