JOYCE BANDA SHOULD STOP THINKING THAT MALAWIANS ARE KIDS. Empty handed many have returned from Salima where our president Madam Joyce Banda was officially opening a cotton ginnerybelonging to Mapeto with lots of non sensiblestuff in her speech again. Watching the state president acting the Makiyolobasi mimic of Professor Peter Muthalika saying “zikomo maiJoyisi Banda, zikomo mai Joyisi Banda” surely proved that the Big Professor makes amai spend sleepless nights and surely he stand a threat to amai based on her conduct. The china shopping splee boost by the PP women who went with her to China, spent all they had and asked for more made me wonder if this was actually the best the president had prepared for thousands of Malawians who gathered to glance the occasion and bearing in mind that millions of Malawians had also tuned to the state run TV and radio stations. Apart from the opening of the cotton Ginnery,Malawians wanted to hear Madam president telling the nation that at least 400,000 families have been reached with one cow per family, 20,000 youths are now in South Korea,PP government is bringing in more investors to create job opportunities and eradicate poverty but to my surprise, I was lately shocked when I heard Madam Joyce Banda telling Malawians that Bingu hated her because she knew where the fallen man kept his bucks. How can a president speak like thatpublically? Without Bingu where could she be today? I found something wrong and wondered if this was really a ceremony for Mapeto or an arena in disguise for the PP to lambast the fallen hero. As a matter of fact, the speech made by the Minister of trade and industry honorable Sosten Gwengwe was amusing, factually this youthful minister has something in the brains. With his expressions he gave a word of hope and appealing to the nation. How I wish if he exchanged his speech with that one of the president at least for once people could clap hands for her truly than these pretence chants and ululation from the PP patriots. Madam president should tell Malawians how our economies are standing, how she will address challenges being faced by the education sector, what her government is doing to eradicate poverty, what PP government has done so far to curb corruption among her servants, how security will be restored in the land .Attacking the dead who surely know nothing present whenthe living are busy swindling in her government wont help her win the next elections. At least Madam President should grow and address matters that can contribute to the development of Malawi and stop acting like she is speaking to children. Malawians are not kids wanting fare tale stories rather they needs development and not cheap political propaganda
