JUST A DECADE Hove around me not, flying away you want us to, I am still young, young to float and swim, Just a decade will work, for my granny told me, Never to eat the meat, that meat which may be stale, Just a decade is enough. Birds of the air are taught to sing, Flying they learn slowly, since the hurricanes may come, Come and carry them away, that’s why I say, Leave me first of all, till my mother granny teaches me, Just a decade is enough. The river may be so deep, crocodiles may reside in there, I fear the fags of the whale, the sweet pain will be too much, Granny warned me that day, that the river is hazardous, never should I go there, I took heed of her advice, that is why I say Just a decade is enough. Swimming may demand, putting on its costumes, My body is too small, very tiny The clothe will never fit, I don’t want to Cos my Granny said so, no costume no swimming, Just a decade is enough. You promise to teach me, teach how to do it, Live me alone, I don wanna learn ,b’cos ones I learn, I will never quit, for the sweet pain in it is addictive, Just a decade is enough I don’t want to now.
