JUST A FEW CRUMBS FROM THE MASTER’S TABLE : Ephesians 4:1 - 3 (KJV) 1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. NOTE : Paul is asking (with emphasis) the Christians at Ephesus (which now includes ALL Christians, since God is not a respecter of persons) to walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called (to live a life fitting of the Divine calling which God has called you to.), With all lowliness (humility) and meekness (gentleness of heart and mind) with longsuffering (patience), forbearing (holding up) one another in love, Endeavouring ( giving diligence) to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Note : In chapter four Paul begins a lengthy discourse on order and duties of the New Testament Church.
