There seems to be alot of emphasis on obtaining a Dove award, Stellar, CCM etc. There is nothing wrong with striving for excellence and being recognized for it like any other artist in the business of making music. BUT...today we hear more talk about the award and that nasty word INDUSTRY being used more than MINISTRY. If not careful that can easily become a form of idolatry as ...Seek ye 1st the...music, and then, industry, & then the kingdom. Check your motives and the reason you sing. What makes you any different than a secular/mainstream artist? Not saying theres anything wrong with other genres.(*as I). If that is the case, why not just go mainstream? JUST A QUESTION...
