JUSTICE FOR KHOJALY KHOJALY GENOCIDE - Is one of the most heinous crimes of the XX century 22 years have passed since, the Khojaly genocide, also known as the Khojaly tragedy, was the killing of hundreds of ethnic Azerbaijani civilians from Khojaly city of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 25–26 February 1992 by the Armenians. According to the Azerbaijani side, as well as Memorial Human Rights Center, Human Rights Watch and other international observers, the massacre was committed the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia consisted of the ethnic Armenians, reportedly with help of the Russian 366th Motor Rifle Regiment. This shoul be noted that as a result of this genocide: - Killed 613 people (including 63 children, 106 women, 70 the elderly); - 8 families completely destroyed; - 25 children lost both parents; - 130 children lost one parent; - injured 487 people (including 76 children); - 1275 people have taken as captive and hostages; - 150 people missing.
