Jaden is still missing from the night of the fire, please keep looking for her. Its getting cold out. Message from Ed Kuske: Next Court Hearing 26th & California 9am on November 13, 2014 Daniel Grunauer Cases were up on Friday October 17 in Judge Joseph Claps Court, Room 704. For the Burglary Case this was the second court date in Judge Clays Court. The first date for this case was on October 7, where the defendant was arraigned on the Burglary Charge and the Discovery process in the trial court was started. On October 17, the Attempted Arson case joined the other case in Judge Clay court. The defendant was arraigned on the Attempted Arson Charge and the Discovery process in the trial court was started. On a Defense motion to reduce the bail bond level, the Judge after reviewing all the charges (Burglary, Attempted Arson, 2 Violation of Probation charges) against this defendant, He decided over the Prosecution objections to reduce the Bail Bond level to $ 275,000. This means the defendant would have to come up with $27,500 in Cash to get the bond posted. It is highly unlikely this defendant can raise this level of cash to get out. The Next Status Date will be 11/13/14. Prosecution will be reviewing all the evidence and the videos from the new case. The Prosecution will decide at the next date which case they will proceed first to trial. There could be a trial on each of the charges. The Prosecutor will proceed in a way believed to maximize the defendants sentence. We are lucky we have one of the best Prosecutor on this case. We had 5 Court Advocates including Marko from the 48th Ward office in court on October 17. The Lead Court Advocate was Barbara A. along with Court Advocates; Paula C., Brian C., and Birdy H. A big thanks to all that came to this court date. Your help is greatly appreciated. Remember, I will looking for 2-4 Court Advocates to join me in court on 11/13/14. Please let me know if you are interested in joining me in court. Regards, Ed Kuske Edward Kuske ; 20th District Court Advocacy Program.
