KDT and KLP.- A Dialysis unit and a blood bank areestablished at IGH, Kavarati.- Construction of 75 rooms for transitsaccommodation at IGH, Kavaratiunderprogress.(MPLAD)- Digital X-Ray at Kavarathi andMinicoy hospitals.- Appointed 4 local Islanders asspecialist doctors.- I.C.U.under MPLAD at Androth andMinicoy.- Ayurvedic and Homeo hospitals areestablished in various Islands.- Pay Ward and Power Generatorunder MPLAD at Amini.- Ultra Sound Scanning Machine underMPLAD at Amini, Androth, AgathiandMinicoy.- 21 General duty medical officers aretrained in the Amrutha Hospitalin the field of Ultra Sound Scanning,Echo and ICU.- Three Permanent Doctors are postedin Androth, Minicoy and Amini.- Administration has signed MOU withKerala Medical Service Corporationfor supplying quality medicines andequipments to the Islands.- More than 300 Haj Seats forLakshadweep Administration for last twoyear.- Lakshadweep Administration hasproposed to start Home Tourism in theIslands of Amini, KLT , CHT and Bitra,the land for construction of Hutshas already been identified in theIslands. 100 cottages are proposed toconstruct in this islands. But due toreligious stress from local islandersthis project is left pending.- Dedicated Berth at Kochi is alreadycompleted.
