James Lloyd Thomas James L. Thomas, passed away at home on Saturday, December 6, 2014, with his wife, Cindy Thomas, of 42 years by his side and surrounded in love by family and friends. Born November 15, 1951 in Townley, Alabama. James is preceded in death by his Son-Hollis L. Thomas; Mother-Sybil Bates; Father-James Alon Thomas; Brothers-Evert Pate and Earl Pate. He is survived by his Wife-Cindy Thomas; Son-James E. Thomas (Jennifer); Grandson-Tyler Lloyd; Brothers and Sisters-Marshal Pate, Diana Feruson (Bruce), Janice Terry (Doug), Perry Elvin Thomas (Sandra); Sister and Brother-in-law-Kathy Miranda (Carlos); Multiple nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Old Prospect Methodist Church. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Old Prospect Methodist Church, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
