#Jamnagar has Countrys first Marine National Partk since 1982, which consists of 42 Islands. The best island of this Marine National Park is Pirotan, which is currently restricted for tourists due to conservation process. Next comes Narara Island, Island accessible by road, also known as Narara Marine National Park and where we have arranged our instameet. It is roughly 60 km from Jamnagar (approx 1-1.5 hrs drive)on Jamnagar- Dwaraka highway and requires permit from the Forest Department prior to visit. The best days are when low tide occurs in early morning around 4 AM and on such a day when you reach park at about 7 AM. This is one of the rare places in the world where one can look at corals without having to dive down into the water. One just has to walk in the water, when the tide ebbs, in about 1 to 2 feet of water and watch this facinating underwater world of corals like Brain coral, moon coral and many more. A huge variety of marine life like crabs, jelly fish, star fish, hard & soft corals, sea anemones , puffer fish, sea horse, octopus, huge green sea turtles, lobsters, dolphins and dugong which resembles seals can be seen in this area So are you coming?
