Good Morning FB friends.....I guess I should be careful what I wish for because I talked about liking cold weather and well, it came true. Maybe I should keep what I wish for to myself well except for Christmas , anyway.....As you know I have some big wishes this year for Christmas and you can help them come true. I am wishing for a big tree and I want it to have lots and lots of ornaments on it made by you with tributes on each one wishing me a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and I want the tributes to include others and other things. I wish this tree could be located at a special place where lots of people could see it. I think the perfect place for you to put my tree would be in the center of town near the stop light so lots of people will see the gift you have given to me, and I want to share my tree with lots of people so I wish you would invite lots of people to come out for a tree decorating party and for a tree lighting ceremony and I want everyone to be invited so no one is left out. I wish that our businesses would be understanding and close their plants and stores for a moment so that their employees and families could all attend it together. I wish that people would gather together as One for a moment and light candles and sing Christmas carols and laugh and smile and be nice to each other and enjoy the moment together, and I wish Santa Claus and his elves would take a little time off from their busy schedule and they come to my party and surprise the children by arriving down our streets by horse and carriage because I doubt if we will have snow this early here in Moorefield. If Santa is able to make it, I want him to be the center of my party and I want to ask him to light the tree. I imagine him being all jolly with a few ho ho hos and then I want him to declare this to be the beginning of the Christmas holiday day here in my home town of Moorefield, and then we will all go across the street to the Mullin Hotel for a big party and give all the children Christmas gifts. Yes, I have a big Christmas wish this year and it can only become true if you come out and help it come true this year so I am inviting you to my party on Friday December 6th at 4:00 pm for a decorating party.....and we need lots and lots of children there because we need help decorating this big tree and it has room for lots and lots of handmade ornaments and if Santa Claus is going to come and light the tree .......well we dont want to disappoint him because if he is going to take time to attend.....he is going to expect something very special....a Community Christmas Tree....decorated by our people and children with tributes to Santa Claus and to our people and children....so lets gather and do our part and then we can all wish and pray that a lot of people will gather on Saturday....December 7th at 5:30 pm at our tree and the Magical moment I have wished for may very well occur and lots of people will be there as One and Santa Claus will arrive and light the Tree. I hear that if you wish and believe Dreams do Come True.......Lets have a Merry Christmas this year and make this Dream come true.
