Janie OKeefe, this poem was written by my dear friend Wanda Mills. She Graduated from Ocean Springs High School and then went on the study and work at Miss State. I love and miss her dearly and I know she would be very happy if you would hang a copy of her poem up at the offices of Disability Connection. STARKVILLE — Wanda “Wandy” Gail Mills, 53, died March 10, 2014. Services are Thursday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Richard Bryan and Bo Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Center Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery in Louisville. Welch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Mills was born May 8, 1960, to James “Jake” Mills of Starkville and the late Betty Jo Richardson Mills. She was a 1981 graduate of Ocean Springs High School and a 1994 graduate of Mississippi State University. She was formerly employed as an admissions counselor at Mississippi State University. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Jo Mills Sweeney. Memorials may be made to Osteogenesis Imperfects Foundation, P.O. Box 824061, Philadelphia, PA 19182-4061.
