January 10 to July 10 not sure where 6 months have gone, feels like forever since I have heard her say no I love you more. Lakyns surgery in January was to help with headaches a fairly routine procedure for this surgeon. She came through beautifully and was back to her happy self that night, 2 days she was given the green light and said she could even go home a day early, little did we know 6 hours later Eric and I would be frantically making ever effort humanly possible to save her life. Had it not been for Lea Lea Latham, just a high school acquaintance who asked to help, she is an angel truly, we would not know that she had a fever, elevated vitals , a cough and a deep rattle in her chest all noted by the nurses masked by Percocet as we left their doors , she passed in our arms from pneumonia, a storm we didnt see coming, cliche I know but hug the ones you love, I love you Lakyn
