Jared and I have been out for a bike ride the last 2 nights and tracking close to 3 miles each time. They have been nice and peaceful and he really is enjoying his trike. Today, as we are on our last few blocks, we come across some kids (probably between 6-9 years old) that basically start heckling Jared. They start by making comments about he needs training wheels, I reply that they are not training wheels its a big trike and Jared says ya, its just my tricycle. Then they come off their porch and proceed to yell down the street that Jared is rude, Im rude and that Jared is a giant butt face! Let me tell ya how hard it was to not drop my bike right there and walk over and chew out a few kids!!! Parents no where to be seen as these children stand outside and act like little fools. P.S. these kids are always all over, Ryan has had several instances of them darting out into traffic in front of him. They are also right across the street from a registered child molester...but yes, please, let them continue to run loose unsupervised.
