Jeanette asks Hi,was wondering if anyone can help.I have a 17 year old son on the spectrum who is having quite regular meltdowns.He attends college and needs to complete 150 hours of practical placements to qualify on his course.He has been told today that he wont be able to do this as the placements wont be able to cope with his meltdowns. Naturally both he and I are devastated by this as he has worked so hard to get where he is now.Can anyone offer advice on where we stand, and also how they deal with these meltdowns?
