Jeremiah 29:11-14 (NLT) “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the LORD. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.” God has a plan for my life and yours that far exceeds anything we could ever think of ourselves. It is a good one with a future and hope. How do we get there from here? We love the Lord and serve Him no matter what things look like today! We follow Him wherever He is leading even if the days ahead seem dark and difficult. Believers must learn to live in confident hope because of who we know and not what we see. I do not live for an invisible God or by blind faith. It is my soul that connects with His Spirit opening my eyes to the unseen realities possible by putting my total faith and confidence in the Lord. My soul sings because it sees past the details of life to the reality of the future that God has for me allowing the Lord to be my joy and strength in the midst of great difficulty!
