Jesus Birth was the greatest Thing to Happen to the world. But it also meant the death of a lot of children under the age of two in Bethlehem. So the Greatest holiday of Love and giving meant sorrow and suffering for countless mothers. I remember a Christmas where a friend of mine tried to commit suicide and the only reason he is alive is cause I was there to call the cops. I remember a Christmas where my wife was about to die and I was planning a divorce. I remember a Christmas where I celebrated alone in a barracks room because I was new to a unit and I was checking in wile everyone was on a Christmas 96. I remember a Christmas where I was separated from my unit in Iraq and sent to a augment unit in Kuwiat where I didnt know anyone. I remember Christmas being a Hard Holiday especially for the BAD Child. This Christmas I couldnt fight it anymore I Let my God know I Hate Christmas!!! Then: My God let me Know! Judges 6:12 The Lord is with you mighty Warrior John 1:12 But to all who did receive Him, who believe in His name, He gave the right to become Children of God. Psalm 126:5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Deuteronomy 28:13 The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. This is a Time of Real pain for so many people, And fake celebrations and sugar cookies make a crappy band aid when its your heart and Soul that Hurts. I am so thankful for the Christmas services we Had this month because today I realize it all applies to Me. I am not bottling up the Pain and Lonliness and perceived rejection anymore.
